1. Darnold was out w mono. Party going and kissing randomw seems like he hasn’t learned. That ain’t my thoughts. But it is a view widely understood. Especially when...
2 Jets are overall losers. It is common for fans to be upset/annoyed/etc when players on losing teams are having fun. It’s dumb, but a certain percentage of the base falls for it. Millions to play. They suck. Out partying. Get your azz to the film room, etc.
3. Joe Willie. Joe Willie was pro bowler his rookie year. Darnold wasn’t, not close. Rules change when you are a winner or perceived as great. By his 4th season he was a super bowl champ, mvp, and first team all pro. Darnold is gonna have a hard time matching that.
All these guys taking about Joe. When Darnold has something remotely comparable they can bring up what he did and the nightlife.
Not to mention that times change.
