For real.
We had Friendsgiving last year because our friend and his wife who live in Israel were in town, and it was his wife's first time to ever visit the US and see Thanksgiving. As far as I am aware, nobody blasted it all over social media.
How someone can complain about a bunch of friends cooking and eating together is beyond me. You have the family you're born into, and you have the family you choose. For some people, the former is horrible and the latter is all they have.
