Confirmed by the guys on 247 back in the day. O found out and fired him on the spot. That's why you see Craig screaming at him after they "won" last year.
TT wasn't coming here, but his late recruitment PO'ed both MB and LN.
Craig is one of those "Used Car Salesman" coaches that fall into the "Good recruiters that can't position coach their way out of wet paper bags."
Craig couldn't even hold onto a position on the Staff at Auburn, his Alma Mater. That's all you need to know.........

This. But the Brennan’s and Tagovailoa’s had known each other from the camp circuit, and TT’s family called MB’s and told them that Tua was sticking with Bama. The main problem was when the Brennan’s tried to call Craig the few days after the Tua offer, DC didn’t answer or call them back.
