I agree 100%. Joe is always looking to make a play down field and the receivers know this. They are always breaking off routes when Joe is scrambling and it's produced big numbers. I promise you that is why he's the Heisman front runner. He has held it a couple times a bit too long but it comes with the territory. The third down scrambling to the right sideline against Alabama comes to mind for me because it was a 5 yard loss on an already long field goal when he could have just thrown the ball at the bench, but York nailed it anyway. A similar play happened against Ole Miss when he threw the INT on the sideline. He has expecting Chase to come back to him and Chase thought about going up the sideline. That hesitation from Chase is what allowed the DB to make the play.
