Hell if I know. Alabama has improved drastically in terms of academics. That said, it's still "Alabama." Point being, a degree from there will only get you so far (basically, the major cities throughout SEC states).

I've found that parts of New Orleans have a superiority complex to LSU. They, for some unbeknownst reason, have a false sense of self-importance and think LSU is beneath them.

The "false sense of self-importance" is the same in Charleston, yet, USC is a perfectly viable option for the South of Broad types. Hell, you'll see tons of USC and The Citadel flags and the graduates are warmly welcomed.

So they go to the school that lots of Georgia kids go to when they want a football school but can’t get into Georgia.
