How about a link to that?

Finally, U.S. Senators are waking up to the possibility that 2020 Democratic contender Joe Biden may have knowingly permitted his son Hunter to “sell” access to the U.S. State Department while Joe was serving as Vice President. The line between crony capitalism and outright corruption is a thin one, but when it comes to assessing the legitimacy of Trump’s interest in ending Ukrainian corruption, it’s worth determining the veracity of corruption allegations, of which Hunter Biden represents a not insignificant part.
On Wednesday, U.S. Senators Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Wednesday inquiring about the manner in which the consulting firm Blue Star Strategies, hired by the infamous Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma, might have utilized Hunter Biden’s role on the Burisma board to “possibly influence State Department matters,” according to a press release from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
Don't forget to catch the email PDFs themselves in the link.

They already have scores of emails outlining Burisma's attempts to get meetings with Sleepy Joe, that begin immediately after Hunter's payoffs started.

I was questioning your statement that said they were trying to get meetings with Joe Biden himself and that they started in 2014.
I haven't seen any emails that fit the description of meeting with Joe Biden.
No denying that Joe Biden was a dumbass for not realizing that he should have done something about his son taking/keeping that position on the board.
But, if they were meeting with Joe Biden, that is saying something in a different class than his son being on the board.

DixRider Gropin Joe said he knew nothing about the position his cokehead son stumbled into.
Your boy is a liar.
Your boy is a liar.

Which part of Burisma using Hunter being on the payroll as a means to get an inside track to Obama administration consideration is tripping you up?
Please, 8 pound 6 oz Baby Jesus don't tell me you honestly think that because they didn't necessarily ask to meet with the VP personally that this exonerates Joe Biden of anything.

Hey a-hole, you're the one who posted that they were meeting with Biden personally.
And I didn't say it exonerates Biden of anything. I said is they were meeting with Biden personally that would put it in a different category than his son being on the board.
But because you were talking out of your arse about them meeting with Biden personally, you start ragging on me.
About as chickenshit as you can get.

You better not say it does since he admitted to his crimes live on tv
But we know you are cool with that

You're an idiot.
Do you think Biden was acting on his own when he said Ukraine should fire Shokin?
Do you think VP Biden could stop the U.S. from guaranteeing the $1 billion IMF loan to Ukraine on his own?
He was acting on behalf of the Obama Administration.
When addressing Biden's actions concerning firing Shokin, U.S. Ambassador Volker testified before the House investigation that: "When Vice President Biden made those representations he was representing U.S. policy at the time."
Volker added that the policy being executed by Biden "was widely understood internationally to be the right policy."
Wake up.

Generally, open meddling in the politics of a foreign country, even one as troubled as Ukraine, isn’t a great idea for a U.S. politician, even if he was personally handed the Ukraine portfolio by the president. It’s even worse when the politician doesn’t have a clear idea of the consequences. The election of populist political novice Zelenskiy is a direct consequence of Poroshenko’s bungling rule, assisted by a bungling, boastful Biden. Once Zelenskiy takes office this month, the U.S. will have to turn a new leaf with Ukraine.

The ROI on Burisma's appointment of Hunter to the board was clearly that he could provide an inside track to the State Dept through assistance from his father, you know, the one charged with all of the foreign relations/negotiations for Ukraine.

Leaked documents from the Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s office indicate complex money transfers from foreign sources into the control of a “slush fund” owned and operated by Devon Archer, John Kerry Senior, John Kerry Junior, Heinz Jr, and Hunter Biden.
But but but, the MSM is telling me this:

Your Bloomberg opinion columnist's contention that Biden had an effect on the election is laughable. Zelensky won the general election with 73.22% of the votes.
When Biden asked for Shokin's firing, that was not only the policy of the Obama administration, it was the general consensus in congress.
For example, on February 14, 2016, the bipartisan Senate Ukraine Caucus, made up of senators from both parties, sent a letter to Ukraine President Poroshenko, which included the following:
quote:
Succeeding in these reforms will show Russian President Vladimir Putin that an independent, transparent, and democratic Ukraine can and will succeed. It also offers a stark alternative to the authoritarianism and oligarchic cronyism prevalent in Russia. As such, we respectfully ask that you address the serious concerns raised by Minister Abromavicius?. We similarly urge you to press ahead with urgent reforms to the Prosecutor General's office and judiciary. The unanimous adoption by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Basic Principles and Action Plan is a good step.

From Ambassador Volker's testimony before the House Committee:
quote:
I have known former Vice President Biden for 24 years, and the suggestion that he would be influenced in his duties as vice president by money for his son simply has no credibility to me. I know him as a man of integrity and dedication to our country.”

Are you really quoting a story from UAWire.org posted in April? Did you even read what I linked?
So again, you might want to fact check that, unless you want to believe uawire over two American publications and Lutsenko himself saying that he stands by his original statements.
quote:
As the story of the U.S. embassy’s pressure spread, a new controversy erupted. A Ukrainian news outlet claimed Lutsenko recanted his claim about the “do-not-prosecute” list. I called Lutsenko and he denied recanting or even changing his story. He gave me this very detailed response standing by his statements.
But American officials and news media eager to discredit my reporting piled on, many quoting the Ukrainian outlet without ever contacting Lutsenko to see if it was true. One of the American outlets that did contact Lutsenko, the New York Times, belatedly disclosed today that Lutsenko told it, like he told me, that he stood by his allegation that the ambassador had provided him names of people and groups she did not want to be targeted by prosecutors.
So again, you might want to fact check that, unless you want to believe uawire over two American publications and Lutsenko himself saying that he stands by his original statements.
