Fourth and 1 delay of game in third qtr

I think it would have been a different game if Joe had noticed the play clock and gotten the snap off. We keep the ball and score a touchdown. Instead we punt and they drive the field to score.

I think the delay was to draw an offsides flag. I don’t think they were seriously going for it.

Joe was looking to the sideline or something. Orgeron should have called time out.

True dat. It was possible it was a both/and deal. Burrow gambled, just in case no flag.

There were two of these situations, both of which they should have ran the play instead of messing around trying to draw Bama off.

They spend too much time deciding whether to go for it and then trying to make them jump.
Don’t hesitate, call your best play, and execute.
By they I mean coaches across the country. 4th and < 3 shouldn’t even be a decision these days.
