I can't remember the movie so don't really remember Sam's performance, but Lee is a Texan if I remember correctly?
Doesn't seem like either casting was really going for what he was in the novel, which I guess I understand since its BBC.
And I agree with the above. That fight in the bar was bad.

Rewatched the episode, good stuff. Surprised not many people on here are watching it.
Apparently it is doing really well in the U.K. It had about 700,000 viewers for the series premier on HBO but it had 7.2 million viewers on BBC One. That was the biggest drama series debut in 5 years in the U.K.
Cant find the wekk to week ratings.
