If the US opens an investigation the Ukraine is obligated to provide assistance.

There is plenty of information that can be investigated in the US -- communications/correspondence, interview witnesses, memos, etc.

Not according to the three US Democrat Senators who threatened to withhold US aid if Ukraine undertook the investigation.

Are you under the impression that is not happening?

Let's put it another way. What is the harm in Ukraine looking at this? What are you worried about? Why are Dems working so hard to obstruct the effort?
