If we're talking about just grabbing it, like the Tennessee coach did,that's just an attention getting mechanism coaches have used since helmets have had facemasks.It's not injuring anyone. For God's sakes the kid has a helmet on his head, and pads all over his body, so he can hit people. He should expect to get hit, or grabbed every once and awhile too.

Parents that worry about a coach embarrassing their kid by doing that in public need to understand the coach is probably trying to convey a message that might save the kid 10 times the embarrassment.
