I'm worried all this rain will slow our offense down. Anyone else concerned?

I'm starting to get pissed...

You'll get downvoted but I'm curious too.

We just don't know. This will be the first time it has ever rained on a Friday, before a Saturday home game in the history of LSU football. Hopefully the field doesn't flood and we have to move the game to UHigh.

Field should be covered today. The rain will be gone by game time and field drains really well. Might be a bit slippery but not any muddy conditions.

It's better to say nothing, and be thought to be a fool, rather than to type out a post and remove all doubt.

Rain the day before these days don't affect nearly as much with the advances in turf-grass, drainage systems, and the substrate used under which allows for faster and efficient drainage...

Sarcasm is not a thing in Mississippi?

They no longer cover the field at TS as recent improvements allow significant drainage especially with a rainfall the day before. Nothing to see here

Have you taken a turf-grass management course in the past 20 years?

First off, it doesn't rain in Tiger Stadium.
Second off, the stiff dew will make the field wet and slippery. Slippery means they'll slide around and move even faster than on a dry field. So no, the offense won't be slowed down, it'll be even faster than normal.
Next question.

Or you probably won't be able to tell it rained at all.

Twice you replied to my sarcastic post, trying to explain to me (I assumed, since you replied to me), why the field will not be wet. And I didn't ask a question.

OK I didn't know this.all I know is that it drains really well. Now if it was to rain tomorrow like it is right now we would have a totally different situation.
