I recently walked thru the mall of la around noon on a monday. The parking lots were pretty full. The crowd wasn't bad at all. Frankly I was pleasantly surprised and happy it hasn't turned to shite. It was actually kind of nice.

I eat lunch in the food court a few times a month. That mall isn't bad at all although it has lost some of its nicer stores. That's just a symptom of the decline in retail. That area is fine.
