definitely makes sense. anchoring it down will provide more long-term stability because you're essentially making the ligament stronger, similar to the tightrope procedure Tua Tagovailoa just had. whereas trimming it you're trying to preserve what you already have. it's strange to me that there is so little blood flow from the geniculates.

I wasn't sure if you could use a repair for a partial meniscal tear. theoretically it makes sense, practically it doesn't. I was asking myself if it would've been better if Zion completely tore it therefore going for a repair as opposed to partial tear & doing a meniscectomy.

I was also thinking if his gait, his play style, or both contributed to the lateral tear. it's interesting since we mostly see medial injuries.
