Well, that is the American way, right?
But, we don't have a revenue problem - we have a spending problem. Frankly, I'm disinclined to discuss things more broadly with folks who cannot/will not concede this.

Debatable on the revenue because the state does take in less today than in 2010-2011. I'll agree on the spending issue, but a lot of that spending is constitutionally and statutorily protected. Most of the shortfall is due to former state employee pension benefits....you want to cut them off, good luck .
