Where, exactly, are you planning to go? There is a world of difference between Turin in March vs Rome, or Naples. It’s a long, skinny country with mountains: some places will be warmer & have a spring just like the southeastern US (or even a bit warmer, nearer the coast) while the far north (Turin, Milan) will still be on the cold side.

I don’t have any particular plans just saw some pretty cheap flights
