STTDB isn't just crass. There's a spectrum of bad words or phrases. Damn isn't a big deal, the F-bomb is a big deal. STTDB is WAY out there at the end of the spectrum.

And I have two girls and have been to many games. THey hear all kinds of bad words, and look at me and roll their eyes when they hear it. So I'm not trying to shelter them and I don't pretend they don't hear it at school too (they hear some of it at home, too).

But come on, now, thousands of students screaming STTDB is far, far different than some random fan yelling an isolated F-bomb.
