That 2680 should be able to chew through encoding with no problems. I used to have a dual 2680 server that was pieced into several VMs and was a beast

Even with the hyper threading and turbo enabled in the BIOS it gets pegged out at 100% when running 2 or mode conversions in MCEBuddy. That's why I only let the conversions run overnight.
Those conversions are the only time it gets above 20% processing power. I just happen to be converting my new recordings and media library to H265.
