Goes to my point. Be happy to be getting something out of it if it is only $1000 more in salary. Maybe next year a R will take over and do better.

:rotflmao: Are you kidding? This is the same (R)controlled legislature that failed to fully fund education and teacher pay raises throughout Jindal's 8 year tenure as Governor. Now teachers are to believe that a new (R) governor will give them significant raises? JBE got the $1,000 for teachers this year because it was an election year, and the (R) legislature knew to oppose it would cost them seats. If JBE could have gotten teachers more, he would have. The biggest problems with La government isn't with the governor, it's with a RINO controlled legislature.
