You done fricked up OP, only you know how your company would respond. Well I guess it’s the new company so maybe not.
What you should have done, is sold your info to the contractor and had them 1099 you for all the work that your process did for them. Then the contractor reimburses you privately, they do nothing but pay you and keep the contract, and no one else knows anything different.
