You are aware bread doesn’t maintain its spongy texture in the digestive tract?

Once it hits stomach acid, it degrades to a liquid consistency. While it’s thought to help fish bones in the UPPER gi, the small and large intestines are unaffected. And the fish bone approach is largely debunked by many anyways.
