Sturgill just said on JRE that there are going to be 40 shows in 2020 with Childers opening up for Sturgill. I haven't seen any cities on the tour, but it'll take catastrophe not to make at least one of the shows. Sound and Fury, and now this...he held out for way too long.

The arc of the show was wonderful. Loved the 3 solo acoustic tunes to close out the show followed by a hootenanny.

The only thing missing for me was Charleston Girl. But hard to complain about it. The show was absolutely fantastic. He let the band get jammy a good bit.

After the 4 he opened with, I turned around to my girl and told her I was already happy with the money spent. Then it just kept getting better. Shake the frost is one of my all time favorite songs by anyone so I was absolutely thrilled he whipped that out at THAT show,

How much money do you think red rocks made off their hoodies Monday night? By the end of the show it looked like 1 out of 3 people had one on. It got chilly!

Seriously? I took Tuesday off to recover, so naturally I woke up, hit a bowl and rewatched the stream.

Ha, no kidding. I was motivated to buy a Country Squire shirt for the extra layer.
