Ah, politics disguised as science.
What's political about that?
Is atmospheric CO2 scientifically classified as a trace gas? Yes or no?
Is it a "major contributor" to "global warming" even using the most dire predictions of the IPCC? At the most, human increases in CO2 are estimated to be responsible for 30% of the projected future increase in global temperatures.

Nothing like the ridiculous argument that our “small sample size” of 100+ years of data just isn’t enough to merit doing anything. Let’s kick that can for forever until we have a million years of data!!
There might be merit to this canard except for the fact there is AMPLE documentation of warming (and even warmer temperatures than current) prior to human inputs of CO2.
Plus, again, you have had almost 30 years of global warming doomsaying and NONE of the predictions have come true.
NONE.
There's plenty of reason to be damned skeptical about this, especially considering the almost non-existent "science" that's being used to underpin the hysteria.

And another thing...
Without signing on to any of the globalist "climate treaties," the USA has reduced its CO2 output to where it was in the early 90s, despite 10s of millions more people here and the concomitant increased economic/industrial activity.
Yet, the USA and its citizens are the "bad guys" and the ones that must pay (i.e., completely alter their way of life/standard of living) to "save the planet."
You may dislike Trump, but he's right. frick "the planet" until India and China and the rest of the REAL CO2 pumpers are brought to heel. Then, maybe, the USA will consider additional measures beyond what it is already doing.
