I think the owners of this company should have their citizenship stripped and sent to live in China.
To hell with them.
To hell with them.

We are working on starting an e-commerce business right now, and we have already seen a lot of people in the same circles who are bemoaning the tariffs. We went ahead and said our preference is going to be building in America and not China. This is working out great for us.
It’s more expensive and a little more difficult to set up, but the quality control and peace of mind knowing we are helping the American economy is worth it.

Yeah I can't stand people who knowingly take advantage of loopholes, and then complain about them being closed. If you aren't able to adjust properly, by being prepared for them closing, then that's on you.

Screw you.
This company is just doing what it takes to survive and is complying with the rules of the bureaucrats.
Trump is exempting well connected large companies like Apple and well connected minisicule companies like dog leash manufacturers.
I guarantee you if these parts were available somewhere else the guy would not be filling out the papers to apply for exemptions.
You people hate business owners. I don't know why.
You sound like Navarro when you say buy American as if at the snap of one's fingers this supply chain can instantly change and that all companies have to do issue a new purchase orders.

This is what should concern every patriotic, freedom loving American:
quote:
“Small businesses wouldn’t have that kind of money to hire one of the well-connected firms,” said Clark Packard, the trade policy counsel at the free market think tank R Street Institute and a former Republican policy adviser. “For an administration that claims to be ‘draining the swamp,’ it’s certainly been a bonanza for trade lawyers and lobbyists.”
