It seemed to me that in the video he tried to take credit for the development of joe. When he chose Haskins instead of Joe. Just saying.

I don't think he was trying to take credit for his development. I think he was just saying that what we are doing is very similar to what he did at Ohio state concept wise. I'm okay with that its not he's known for having a horrible offense or something.

Not at all? He just said we're using similar concepts to what they used at OSU.

And so are a few dozen other teams in college. LSU is the big story in college football right now, because of how effective those concepts are with big time talent across the board.

All three starters at WR have proven to be game changers. Most teams have only one and the lucky few have two at best. Most defenses are lucky if they have one guy that is effective in man coverage.

That, I think, is what is separating LSU from the pack. Not even Bama has that much depth at WR. With an extremely smart and accurate QB getting them the ball, it's no wonder we're doing what we're doing.

I really like the point one of the guys made about the pump fakes and look offs to move the safeties in zone coverage. Those two things have been sorely lacking in our QB play for quite some time.

Liked your post but woa now those cats got 4 legit NFL receivers, albeit a completely different type of receiver than our 3 currently. And they got the young 4 stars backing them up like we do.

He probably should get credit for his development. He had him for 3 years.

Irrelevant. Joe looking great this season doesn’t mean Haskins wasn’t a little better. That’s the same sort of logic people used to claim Joe wouldn’t be good because he couldn’t earn the starting job at Ohio St.

Wrong. They are deeper than us.

Perhaps I misstated the point I was trying to make. While Bama has the talent, Tua doesn't spread it around nearly as much as Burrow.

Bama's top 3 account for 2/3 of Tua's completions.
LSU's top 3 account for exactly half of Burrow's.

LSU has a lot more guys with multiple receptions, which makes LSU more difficult to defend.

Good breakdown generally.

The biggest thing I take away from this is how much better the analysis is on Fox than Gameday. Having 2 QBs who were top of the line in their times to assist Meyer in those videos breaking QBs down is good stuff
