Gameday at LSU

I have been a fan of LSU for years and have seen many away games, as well as visiting campus a few times. However I have never been on campus for a home game. This year the Auburn game is on my birthday and I really want to travel to see it. I am a college student at a school in South Carolina, and was worried about fitting in considering I wouldn't know anyone.
I was hoping someone could pass along information about the best places to visit, and the best way to be included in the gameday atmosphere. I know I will have a great time regardless, but I was hoping for some expert tips.

walk around campus and just ask random tailgates for directions/tips/tell them your story. You will be given food/beer

The campus is beautiful and any tailgating you would be more than welcomed to join. Great people, great food and plenty to drink
