Burrow is a better NFL prospect than Tua

Look I don’t care what most people think... Tua has a great arm, and he can move well.... but he’s playing in about the easiest possible system and most of his passes are within 10 yards and his ridiculously talented WRs just take them to the house. I hardly have ever seen Tua sit back in the pocket, read a safety, look a guy off and throw a ball in tight coverage. Imo the NFL will have a big learning curve for Tua, whereas Joe is operating in a NFL system right now and keying his reads and making all the throws right now.

What about his game winning throw in the 2017 National Title game ?

Think they are both first rounders but Joe has a higher ceiling.

Tua has to learn how to read a defense... you’ll see him drop significantly

Nah.
Burrow is making his case for a top 3 round prospect though.

ummmm did you see Tua dart those slant bullets vs USCe? I love Burrow but Brennan has a rocket far more lethal. Burrow does have the intangibles, leadership, grit, toughness and the ability to run so your assessment may end uo being correct and I hope it is.

Tua's stats were great today, but it was mostly from his receivers absolutely burning people. Most of Tua's throws were quick easy passes. I don't know if he threw a ball farther than 10 yards.

Joe is having a great year no doubt, but is a backup in the NFL unless he goes to the right team.

It's more complicated than that. Burrow, because of the new Saints passing offense, has been allowed to use his confidence and experience in a familiar shotgun setting to succeed with touch passes and accurate throws. Tua is a lefty which gives him a natural disadvantage. I would also give burrow The Edge due to the adversity that he has faced. But we all know in the NFL really depends on what team you go to and coordinator unless you're a natural Hall of Famer. Actually thought David Carr was a very gifted quarterback but went to a team that could not protect him and it ruined his career.
The offense that LSU is running is having open receivers everywhere due to everyone biting on play-action and the threat of LSU's traditional run prowess. Borrow is learning to go to his receivers and a very professional progression and his natural it Factor is shining through even more. That 3rd and 17 at Texas was clutch. You can't teach that. But you can teach burrow how to be better mechanically and go through his progressions like a professional. Tua has never faced that kind of adversity. Tough to say who's better at this point

This same kind of people said Mett was a first rounder, said Jamarcus was a Hall of Famer and said Etling was the next Tom Brady. Put the bottle down.

Lost all credibility here.

Agree. I see Tua to be in the vein of Danny Weurfel. Good college QB with an amazing supporting cast. His NFL potential is limited

Burrow has a betterNFL temperament. Better understanding of protection and passing concepts. He’s also a better term leader. That may translate to higher NFL upside

Both are around 1 QB’s.
