Did anyone else notice CEH miss several blitz pickups? I thought he was supposed to be our best blocking rb.

O loves his ball security. Emery must fumble a lot in practice, I can’t think of another reason.

Emery has pass pro plays in his highlight film

Yep, I was very disappointed in our running back play

I know he missed a few but you realize JB was 12-14 against the blitz right?

Some of these asshats are just looking for reasons to hate on CEH.

I absolutely realize Joe’s stats, I’m just asking if anyone else noticed the three plays that CEH completely whiffed on picking up a blitz, one resulting in the player getting a sack.

I know he’s not a running back but Tory Carter did well blocking.

On obvious passing plays why not put Tory Carter in the backfield. He won't whiff on linebackers.

Yes, #22 missed a few blitz pickups. Apparently, maybe the other guys aren’t quite there yet with recognizing where the blitz’s are coming from.

However, it does appear that Joe B knows and instructs the backs.

They don’t know that, it don’t give them anything to complain about. Yes he missed a few blocks also he picked up a whole bunch of them. Texas blitzed more then any team I have seen play.

So what does that tell you? Think about it? Most likely that CEH Is our best RB to protect JB is the most rational conclusion.

I guess I worded my original post incorrectly. My point was if he was doing “not a great” job and they didn’t try someone else, the others must really not be ready
