also, coons carry rabies, so be careful. LDWF can put you in touch with a rehabber if you don't want the responsibility.
My boy raised one until his nuts dropped, then it jumped him and tore him up before he could grab his pistol and shoot it INSIDE HIS HOUSE (true story!). They're cute and fun as babies, but they'll get into EVERYTHING if you don't constantly watch them.
Find a wildlife dept in your area and they'll find a place for them....be careful or you'll get attached!
