So take your criticism of the underpaid and overworked/overmanaged teacher and shove it up your arse next to your boyfriend's load.

Wtf are you talking about? I’m criticizing THIS teacher, not teachers generally, which include my mother, aunt, grandmother, fiancée, three grandfathers, AND myself for a short period.

If you wanna say calm down because it could be forced by policy, that’s fair. But calm your titty tots because that was ridiculous.

You are criticizing THIS teacher without knowing the actual first hand facts. Everyone thinks their RANT has merit and folks like teachers who are in the middle get to hear every asshat's rant.

As for teachers, I have over 20 in my family including my wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins to
my grandmother who have been in education from preschool teacher all the way up to my godfather who was a college president. Teachers are underpaid and parents in 2019 who do a crappy job being parents then expect teachers to do their job. These same parents then fly off the handle when a professional with 30 kids or more in the room cannot teach the skills a parent is supposed to teach. Or worse, they fly off the handle when the teacher TRIES to discipline these kids.

In this case, from the way it is being told in the original post, I would bet the parent went in with guns blazing. I doubt the teacher WANTS the responsibility of deciding whether or not a kid should ride a bike to school but that teacher still has to follow school policy. EVERY teacher deserves at LEAST the initial benefit of the doubt.

I apologize if my vehemence offends you but as someone who know people in education you must understand that in 2019 they have stolen the authority and autonomy of classroom teacher while increasing their responsibility. And parents have gone off the rails in their lack of understanding that the teacher should be treated as an ally and not the enemy under most circumstances.

Yea. exactly. So like I said. Point out how that teacher may be between a rock and a hard place because of policies, etc. and quit ASSUMING I’m making some general gripe about teachers. Again like you said, everyone thinks their rant has merit. Well you missed the mark on my rant being about teachers generally.
