Correct.

The LA GOP can advise, influence but they have no role in ultimately selecting who the candidates are.

The idea that LA GOP can just order a candidate to run or stop running is one of the dumbest things on this board.

That’s why Abraham has no money.

Abraham has Boysie Bollinger on his fundraising finance committee and he supported JBE back in 2015.

And he just locked in 2 million for an ad buy in targeted markets.

They knew JBE wasn’t an easy defeat, so they are saving their guy for 2024. It should be pretty obvious to anyone who is objective.

And you were doing alright.

If the LAGOP was really as powerful as some people like you on this board claim they are, they would have never allowed Bobby Jindal's stupid, pointless and reckless feud with David Vitter to morph into an opening where a democrat could win the Governor's mansion.

The LA GOP is nowhere near as powerful as you think they are.

The next election after this is 2023 btw, not 2024.

Nobody said that. But they haven’t backed a candidate or given any money to anyone. After this much time, that’s 1) an indictment of the candidates or 2) shows they don’t really want to unseat JBE all that badly.

The people I’m talking about were not running things then. That feud shifted the power structure in the party.

I’m not talking about who the party chair or anyone like that. I’m talking about the big money players.

They will be sworn in, in 2024.
