It really only speaks to the fact that a navy admiral was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time. If it had been an Army general the mission would've gone to Delta.

Exactly, it would’ve gone to Delta and not the GB’s or Rangers. Thus proving that Seals and Delta are the most comparable of the groups mentioned in the OP

Admittedly I haven’t read many biographies from the high speed units. How many guys in them aren’t super alpha outspoken type guys? Like, “this is just my job and yeah I guess I’m a badass”

While I agree. GBs and Rangers aren't really set up for that kind of mission. Although I'm sure both would've been more than capable of conducting the raid if they had to.

The SEALS are not comparable to Delta

DEVGRU is comparable to Delta

Seals are comparable to green berets

They are all very different, but that’s the comparison for eliteness/makeup

Incorrect.

“SEALs” posed in the question refers to the standard teams.

ST6 is allegedly a more elite unit, the best SEALs from all the standard teams on one team.

You may be able to compare Delta and ST6, but you can never compare the standard teams to Delta.
