People have never changed!
The same types of people are still here today and will be until the end. Only the names and faces have changed.
Look at how often Jesus criticized the priests for their unrighteousness, piety, and lack of love. It should be no surprise that those same types of people are priests today. No scripture is for a set group of people that do not exist today.

You don’t seem too interested in finding out who Paul was talking about and why. I understand. A lot of people are really comfortable with their modern mainstream misinterpretation of the passage.
