the fund transfer policy was intended to help the university during the horrendous Jindal budget mishandling when higher education was getting its budget slashed almost monthly... LSU Athletics promised to donate any profit from its operations, provide that the profit was sufficient enough to not hurt the Atheltic Dept.
NOW that higher ed supposedly doesn't have the same budgetary issues under JBE (as the politicos claim) LSU Athletics isn't obligated to transfer any extra funds to the school. . . also when considering that Athletic Department made LESS money last year than it did in years previous, the transfer wouldn't have been as sizeable.
