I guess b/c I follow the AL more since the Astros move, MLB just has an NBA feel to it when it comes to the regular season.
It doesn’t help that the Astros take it to the extreme, resting starters daily. Look how many injuries teams like Yankees and Astros have had, but still running away. Astros had to slump with A’s streaking just to get where they’re at now.
There’s always a surprise team like the Twins,
but even teams like the Indians, who are catching them, are being discussed as sellers. Pretty much 2 teams in each league with a chance to win the pennant.

That kinda sounded like I was complaining, but honestly, as long as the 4 teams includes the Astros, it’s just an observation. LOL

I don't know that I totally agree, although the Astros have made a bit of a joke of the AL West in recent years so maybe there's some bias there.
The Yankees are running away with the East, but that division has been competitive in recent years. Over the last 5 completed seasons 2014-2018, three of the five teams have won the division and none of those three were the Yankees, so this is shaping up to be 4 out 5 teams over 6 seasons having won the AL East.
The Central is just a 2 game lead right now for the Twins.
The Wild Card is shaping up to be a great race with 6 teams in play, 7 if you count the Twins.
The NL has definitely had more of the last season division race drama though, that's a fact.
