LINK
This situation seems comparable to Matt Barkley's senior stats in high school. He threw for 23 tds and 18 ints and had a 54.7% completion percentage. That's not great, especially at a school like Mater Dei; however, he ended up being a solid college quarterback who was drafted in the fourth round and is still a backup QB in the NFL. I'm not saying that Max Johnson will be better or worse than Barkley but its just an example to show that senior stats don't always tell the whole story.
The link is for his career stats but you can choose his senior year to view those numbers.
