First off, let's be honest instead of cherry-picking statistics. Shepard didn't exclusively catch passes.

Not sure why you bother mentioning that. Are you saying it didn't help that we had NFL talent at the position? Are you saying we don't have NFL talent at the position currently?

Think what you want. He was playing behind Brandon Lafell, Reuben Randle, Odell Beckham, and Jarvis Landry while catching passes from Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee.
As an aside, James Wright, who was also on that team, was still playing pro ball up until two months ago. Kudos to him.
