I haven't read any of this thread so I don't know what has and hasn't been discussed already.

It seems both parish's leaders are doing what they should be doing, which is doing all they can to help/protect their residents. Ourso has no obligation to EBR and Broome has the right to disagree with his actions. It'd be nice if we had a governor or other leader that could've brought everyone together in the past 3 years to come to some agreement on the proper action to be taken (although I know Mitch isn't exactly looking to compromise)

Well...one parish's residents built their residences and cities on high ground. The other settled in the drainage basin.


Who's more right here?
