I can appreciate trying to help someone who may have been mentally ill, but once he runs at you, just fricking put him down for good.

The fact that he didn't put the rest of his clip in that dude when he got back up is frustrating.

I'm not a police officer, so I'm not privy to procedure, but I can't imagine he wouldn't have been justified in just unloading into that guy.

No reason for him to have been in a situation where the guy with the knife was able to get to him like that.
