8 handicapper here. I would like to take my game up a notch. A friend of mine suggested I go take a series of lessons with either Rob Noel or Brian Manzella. I would like the Golf Boards opinion on these two guys or another teacher that may be able to help me.

Neither and I’ve been to both and was about the same hdcp when I went to them

Of those two choices - Rob Noel.

Manzella is a lunatic and on top of that I have not heard of anybody getting better after taking lessons from him.

Another vote for James Leitz. I took a lesson with him back in April and it was enlightening. I had hoped to do a couple more, but my summer schedule has been nuts. I will def go back once the kids are in school.

This question has been debated since back in the 90s when both were at City Park.

Certainly someone can give you an answer.
