Inshore Fishing Recommendations

Going to take my father in law for his first time down to the marsh this weekend. Don't know if the winds are going to be great but it is our only chance for a while so I thought we would take the gamble.
I usually fish out of Myrtle Grove Marina. I fished there last weekend and did ok, but the bite was very slow.
Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on other places that we could get on some nice reds.
I keep hearing about nice bites in hope dale and shell beach, but I don't know where to go. I only have a 18ft aluminum crest liner, so I have to be careful around some of the areas.
Thanks Guys
