I have a six year old pit bull who was literally dying from osteoarthritis. She was in so much pain she could barely walk.
I took her to 5 different vets in Louisiana and Mississippi and none of them did anything to help her.
Finally, I took her to Dr. Jacob Church in Ocean Springs. He put her on a new medication and literally the very next day she was moving around as well as she has in years.
He previously had saved the life of one of my other dogs when I was living in the MS coast.
Point being, not all doctors are the same. Just because they have the same qualifications doesn’t mean they’re equally good at what they do. Some are just better and more knowledgeable than others.
Same as with any other profession.
Reevaluating the medical staff is not some radical idea. If not pleased with the bottom line results, then they should absolutely be looked at to determine their role if any in the reoccurring problems we’ve seen with injuries.
I know it’s not an apples to apples comparison, but the point stands.
