This is sound advice, and i’m amazed that most people dont do this.. I live out of state and we go to most LSU home games, so i always make reservations for hotels in Baton Rouge a year in advance.. Also i’ll usually book a year ahead for wherever the Nat’l Title game will be, in case LSU makes it.. as well as neutral site games..It also helps if you try to be ‘loyal’ to one hotel chain/group; if you book on their websites and are a ‘member’, you’ll usually have until a day or two before the game to cancel if you can’t make it.
