My understanding is that IRS Code Section 6103(f) also grants the President the authority to request tax records and returns, under certain conditions. I really think Trump will do this at some point.

Sadly, the laws they broke don't apply to them. Until a few years ago members of Congress were exempt from insider trading laws.

Pelousy routinely manipulated the House voting calendar to benefit her husband's stock trades. Hastert bought land in the middle of nowhere, earmarked a federal highway to run past it, and sold it for a massive profit.

Somebody published a book in 2011 on all the scams they ran. You or I would be under the jail for that kind of stuff.
