re: Strikeout rule makes no sense

It’s one thing to penalize a wild pitch when it’s not swung at though. But by definition a wild pitch isn’t punished with nobody on unless there is 2 strikes and the pitch is deceiving enough to make him swing. I don’t think that should be punished. If a pitch is deceiving enough to make someone swing and miss its a good pitch IMO and doesn’t deserve to be punished
