That's what I heard this afternoon on the BBC News Hour. A British climatologist has models suggesting a 6 foot rise in sea levels by the end of the century, if emissions continue at their projected pace. That would create a climate refugee crisis of nearly 200 million persons, and would irrevocably flood many coastal American cities, including New York, Miami, New Orleans and Los Angeles.
