Tiger Park looks so much better behind the plate with the very simple LSU lettering on the padding instead of the obnoxious Tony Chachere’s signs. Yeah I know it pays bills but the understated green padded walls look classy.

It's actually kinda weird that Alleva didn't sell that. Obviously, less people in the stands and probably watching on TV/online but it's still eyeballs and ad space. I wonder if somebody told him no.

Normally I would agree, but since it's Tony's I'm okay with it. I think it's kind of cool and a little Louisiana flare. The other advertisements can GTFO.

I don't mind the ads on the walls in the outfield at all. If you watch pro baseball, their outfield walls have ads all over most of them as well. I never understood what's so trashy about that to some of our fans. It adds character to the stadium and makes it unique bc no stadium has the same walls/ads. The only ads that I don't care for are the ads right behind the plate on the backstop, and even those don't bother me really. It just seems like some people will always find something to bitch about no matter what and will never be content with what they have...even when what they have is widely regarded as one of the top stadiums in college baseball by outsiders.

I think all of the Louisiana-themed ads are pretty cool. Makes me kinda proud to be watching my tigers rake with some Louisiana flair in the background.
