actually, YOU said Miami sucked. in your smarmy know it all way before dropping your A-HA moment about their defense.
heckuva defense I tell ya. gave up damn near 30 points to boston college. Fcking BOSTON COLLEGE.
a 4 game losing streak to UVA, Duke, the previously aforementioned Boston College, and Georgia Tech.
oh yeah, and that vaunted defense also showed up in the bowl game, when they got their freaking clocks cleaned 35-3 to finish the season unranked.
oh, and Richt fired himself.

well they were the first team in what felt like a century to lose to Miss State...at home.
It was Miles' worst margin of defeat to an Auburn team that wasn't all that great.
oh and LSU was kind enough to give BIG BERT his first SEC win, ever. in a 17-0 shutout.
and lest we forget the Music City Bowl. ah yes, how could be forget the Music City Bowl, with all of its pomp and circumstance, only reserved for the elite teams at the end of the season.
yeah, dude, LSU in 2014 was not good. you just now figuring this out??
