The variety is better than in BR. I lived in the Northeast and now Atlanta, and it’s considerably better. Italian, Asian and Portuguese/Spanish to name a few. Sure there are things you can’t get or make yourself, but on the whole it’s better. I make a good jambalaya, gumbo and etouffee. Other than boudin, what else do you need? And maybe finding good sausage.

I find myself disappointed when I go back to BR, whether it’s the lack or variety or the service/quality.
