Benson & Saints have La. by the proverbial balls.
Since Saints fans vote, and are statewide, what Benson wants, Benson gets.
So, traffic backs up from Lafayette to Baton Rouge and from Hammond to Baton Rouge.
But, Superdome gets renovated, Saints fans happy, Benson widow keeps getting richer, and Louisiana taxpayers get it up the arse.
Since Saints fans vote, and are statewide, what Benson wants, Benson gets.

You actually think a new bridge would resolve this...?
They need to figure that cluster frick 110/I-10 interchange first...
As far as Hammond to BR... they need to widen 1-12...
