The world just needs to let Israel do what it has to do.
I agree.
Thats why the made up people who call themselves Palestinians will never agree to forming a legitimate state. If they were a recognized state, all their aggressions would be official acts of war, and Israel could fight it as such. As long as they play the poor oppressed victims, all actions by Israel are defensive and subdued compared to a tactical war with the end result being to win as quickly and completely as possible.

Benedict Anderson wrote a seminal history of nationalism called Imagined Communties.
The title is why I bring it up. As he writes, nations are a group of people who decide they’re a people. It’s an act of self creation, and in many ways it is artificial and arbitrary. So as long as the Palistinians consider themselves a people, they are one.
I would also say, the people of the Arab peninsula are certainly Arabs, but when you leave the peninsula, you encounter pre Islamic influence. To call everyone in the region Arab means glossing over substantial cultural differences.
There is something different about the peoples of that coastal region. Just as the peoples of Syria and Lebanon are different.
And then you have the Palistinians conflict with their Jewish neighbors, that has also shaped a unique identity.
